The LEON charity is dedicated to making a lasting difference to the lives of children in the Philippines who are affected by illness, disability or poverty. Our aim is not merely to alleviate immediate hardship, but to provide genuine coping strategies and new prospects for the future.
Through our charity LEON, we help sick and disadvantaged children to help themselves:
– We nurture their individual strengths
– We help them break out of social isolation
– We facilitate interactions between children with and without disabilities
We don’t just provide the bare necessities for survival,
but also tools, opportunities and a sense of community,
so that children can reach their full potential.
